Engineered for durability and high performance, the L12200 Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery is purpose-built for off-grid solar systems. With a compact design and robust internal Battery Management System (BMS), it offers consistent and safe energy storage for demanding environments.

-Advanced Battery Management: Integrated BMS with safeguards against overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit, over-temperature, and overcurrent.
-Scalable Power: Supports up to 4 battery units in either series or parallel configuration (not both simultaneously).
-Exceptional Lifespan: Over 5000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, ideal for long-term use.
-High Load Support: Continuous discharge up to 200A, with peak current handling of 250A for under 10 seconds.
-Weatherproof Design: IP65-rated enclosure offers protection against dust and water ingress.
-Compact Build: Measures 552 × 240 × 218 mm and weighs approximately 26kg.
Installation Guidelines:
-Must be installed by a qualified wireman or master electrician registered with the Department of Labour.
-A valid COC (Certificate of Compliance) is mandatory.
-System must comply with SANS 10142 standards.
-Installation must ensure proper ventilation and environmental conditions (temperature range -10℃ to 55℃).
Maintenance Recommendations:
-Periodic voltage checks and inspection of terminal connections every 3–6 months.
-Ensure battery voltage remains above 12V to avoid deep discharge damage.

My gas geyser no longer spark after 4 months, what can be the issue
This battery runs my lights, TV and decoder, Computer and monitor, speakers, internet, blender and all the other small draw items in my caravan. In 2 years I've had no problems and I'm happy. It's lying on the floor under the bed and being a LifePO I'm confident that it can't burst into flame and I sleep very well.
I'm traveling around southern Africa in the caravan and this is a very helpful power source, coupled with a 3000 watt inverter.
I do all my cooking on gas and stay in caravan parks which have electricity available, so I charge the battery through the inverter from the mains. Solar panels are big and clumsy to carry around - the smaller roll-up panels are not very efficient.
