Luxpowertek Li-7.5e 7.5kWh 25.6V Lithium Battery (6000 cycles)

Product Description

The Luxpowertek Li-7.5e is a 7.5kWh low-voltage lithium battery designed for residential energy storage, telecom applications and larger scalable battery systems.

Built with lithium iron phosphate cell technology, the battery provides a rated capacity of 300Ah at 25.6V and supports a charge and discharge current of up to 140A.

Its flexible mounting options, intelligent battery management system and support for up to 35 batteries in parallel make it suitable for both compact backup installations and larger energy-storage projects.

High-Capacity 24V Energy Storage

The Li-7.5e provides:

  • Rated energy: 7.5kWh
  • Rated capacity: 300Ah
  • Rated voltage: 25.6V
  • Battery chemistry: Lithium iron phosphate
  • Charge and discharge current: 140A

The 25.6V configuration makes the battery suitable for compatible 24V low-voltage inverter systems and can provide a lithium replacement option for certain traditional lead-acid battery installations.

Compatibility with the inverter and its battery-management communication protocol must be confirmed before installation.

Expandable Up to 35 Batteries

Up to 35 compatible Luxpowertek Li-7.5e batteries can be connected in parallel.

No additional expansion device is stated as being required, allowing the battery bank to scale according to future storage requirements.

This makes the battery suitable for:

  • Residential backup systems
  • Larger solar-storage systems
  • Telecom energy storage
  • Systems requiring future battery expansion
  • Long-duration backup applications

All parallel installations must follow the manufacturer’s cabling, protection and communication requirements.

140A Charge and Discharge Capability

The battery supports a charge and discharge current of 140A.

Its stated 0.5C charging and discharging capability enables efficient energy transfer when paired with a compatible inverter and correctly designed electrical system.

Actual battery current may be limited by:

  • Inverter specifications
  • Battery-management system settings
  • Number of connected batteries
  • Cable size
  • Protection equipment
  • Operating temperature
  • System configuration

Lithium Iron Phosphate Technology

The Li-7.5e uses LFP cell chemistry, providing a stable and durable energy-storage platform for frequent cycling.

Key advantages include:

  • Long cycle life
  • Stable battery chemistry
  • Suitable for regular charging and discharging
  • High-capacity storage in a compact format
  • Reduced maintenance compared with traditional lead-acid batteries

Smart Battery Management System

An integrated battery management system provides multi-level protection for the battery.

Protection functions include:

  • Overcharge protection
  • Over-discharge protection
  • Short-circuit protection

The BMS helps keep the battery within its approved electrical operating limits and assists with safe communication between the battery and compatible inverter systems.

CAN and RS485 Communication

The battery supports:

  • CAN communication
  • RS485 communication

These interfaces allow communication with compatible inverter systems for battery monitoring, charge control and battery-management functions.

Compatibility should always be confirmed for the exact inverter model and firmware version.

Remote Maintenance Support

Remote maintenance capability allows authorised system support and diagnostics without requiring all servicing to be performed locally.

Supported functions include:

  • Remote firmware upgrades
  • Remote diagnostics
  • Flexible remote software maintenance
  • Original firmware backup

The original firmware backup is intended to reduce the risk of unsuccessful firmware updates affecting system operation.

Availability of remote functions may depend on the complete system configuration and internet connectivity.

Compact Battery Design

Despite its 7.5kWh capacity, the battery maintains a relatively compact enclosure.

Dimensions and weight:

  • Width: 463mm
  • Height: 452mm
  • Depth: 225mm
  • Weight: 53.5kg

The installation surface and mounting structure must be capable of safely supporting the battery weight.

IP20 Protection Rating

The battery has an IP20 protection rating.

It is therefore intended for installation in a suitable protected environment and should not be exposed directly to rain, excessive moisture, dust or other harsh outdoor conditions.

The installation location should comply with Luxpowertek’s ventilation, temperature and clearance requirements.
