The Deye 6kVA Off-Grid inverter is a standard hybrid inverter designed for flexible operation in both off-grid and grid-connected setups. It can be connected to the utility supply for charging and backup support; however, it is configured for non-export operation and therefore does not feed power back into the municipal grid.

Warranty & Installation Requirements
This inverter includes a 5 to 10-year limited warranty, dependent on the installation location and adherence to the manufacturer’s policy.
All installations must be carried out by a qualified electrician or wireman registered with the Department of Labour. A valid Certificate of Compliance (COC) is required, and systems must comply with SANS 10142 and all relevant standards. Failure to meet these conditions may void the warranty.

My gas geyser no longer spark after 4 months, what can be the issue
This battery runs my lights, TV and decoder, Computer and monitor, speakers, internet, blender and all the other small draw items in my caravan. In 2 years I've had no problems and I'm happy. It's lying on the floor under the bed and being a LifePO I'm confident that it can't burst into flame and I sleep very well.
I'm traveling around southern Africa in the caravan and this is a very helpful power source, coupled with a 3000 watt inverter.
I do all my cooking on gas and stay in caravan parks which have electricity available, so I charge the battery through the inverter from the mains. Solar panels are big and clumsy to carry around - the smaller roll-up panels are not very efficient.
