The Ecco ME51100 Lithium Battery is a compact, modular 5.12kWh energy storage unit designed for scalable residential or small commercial solar systems. Using LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) technology, it offers long life, improved safety, and high energy density.
Ideal for wall-mounted installations or stacked mounting (up to 5 units), the ME Series supports up to 40 batteries in parallel, giving installers the flexibility to scale from 5.12kWh to over 200kWh as needed. A smart BMS with built-in WiFi and LCD local display allows for efficient system monitoring and seamless integration with most inverter brands.

This battery runs my lights, TV and decoder, Computer and monitor, speakers, internet, blender and all the other small draw items in my caravan. In 2 years I've had no problems and I'm happy. It's lying on the floor under the bed and being a LifePO I'm confident that it can't burst into flame and I sleep very well.
I'm traveling around southern Africa in the caravan and this is a very helpful power source, coupled with a 3000 watt inverter.
I do all my cooking on gas and stay in caravan parks which have electricity available, so I charge the battery through the inverter from the mains. Solar panels are big and clumsy to carry around - the smaller roll-up panels are not very efficient.
