Battery Life and Loadshedding Use

The stated battery cycle life is approximately 200 to 300 cycles, depending on how deeply and how frequently the battery is discharged.

Under occasional Stage 1–2 loadshedding, the expected average lifespan may be around two years, depending on operating conditions.

Frequent Stage 2–6 loadshedding can significantly shorten battery life because the battery may be cycled repeatedly without enough time to recharge fully between outages.

For better service life:

Avoid unnecessary deep discharging

Keep the battery fully charged when possible

Allow sufficient recharge time between outages

Avoid leaving heavy loads connected unnecessarily

Keep the inverter connected to AC power so the battery can remain charged
